After months of planning, filming, and brainstorming with an amazing group of people, we made this powerful doc that sheds light on the vibrant community living in Southern Towers and their struggle for affordable housing. The diverse backgrounds of the residents from Somalia, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Central America, and more, add a rich and compelling aspect to the narrative.

It's disheartening to hear that the corporate landlord CIM Group is not meeting the community's needs, despite claiming to value them. The fight for the right to stay in their homes is an important battle, and it's commendable that the tenants and advocates have been working together since 2020 to protect their rights.
